Privacy Policy for Mood Blocks

This Privacy Policy explains how Mood Blocks handles information when you play the game, use the online leaderboard, view ads, manage advertising privacy choices, or receive local reminders.

App: Mood Blocks Package: com.moodblocks.game Developer: Oğuzhan Dilmaç Effective: August 19, 2026

Privacy at a glance

Mood Blocks supports Google Sign-In to protect your game progression, scores, and account across devices using Firebase Authentication. Your account identity is tied to a secure Firebase Authentication User ID (UID). Player nicknames are chosen independently by you and never leak your private Gmail address on public leaderboards.

Authentication & Identity Google Sign-In via Firebase Authentication UID. Your email is kept strictly private for auth purposes.
Leaderboard & Progression Your chosen unique nickname, highest scores, and game progress (gold, themes, boosters) are saved to your Firebase Auth UID account.
Advertising and consent Google AdMob serves rewarded and interstitial ads. Google's UMP SDK manages consent and privacy choices.
Account Deletion Control You can delete your entire account, nickname reservation, and leaderboard records directly in app settings (Market > Hesabı Sil).

Information we handle

Information stored locally. Mood Blocks uses the app WebView's local storage to save:

  • your chosen player name;
  • classic-mode and time-mode best scores;
  • level progression;
  • earned gold;
  • the active theme and unlocked themes;
  • power-up inventory, including hammer, refresh, bomb, and rotate quantities;
  • advertising frequency counters and timestamps; and
  • whether optional return reminders are enabled.

Older installations may also retain a legacy local score-history record containing player names, best and last scores, and the number of games played. The current packaged version does not actively submit that legacy record to its disabled Dreamlo integration.

Online leaderboard information. When a game ends and Firebase is available, Mood Blocks attempts to send:

  • the player name you selected;
  • your score, retained as the highest score associated with that player name; and
  • the date and time at which the score record was created or updated.

Player names and scores submitted to the leaderboard are public within the game's leaderboard. Do not use your real name or include contact details or other sensitive information in a player name.

Technical and device information

Mood Blocks includes the Google Mobile Ads SDK and Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK. The Mobile Ads SDK may automatically collect or share IP address, app interactions (such as app launches, taps, and ad or video views), diagnostic information (such as launch time, hang rate, and energy use), and device or account identifiers such as the Android advertising ID and app set ID. The app does not request precise or approximate location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, phone number, or email address.

Internet services necessarily receive technical network information when your device connects. Service providers may use the IP address to infer approximate location, such as country or city. AdMob, Firebase, and Google Fonts may process information such as your IP address, requested URL, HTTP headers, browser or WebView user-agent information, and operating-system information to deliver their services, maintain security, measure performance, prevent abuse, and, where permitted by your choices and applicable law, select or personalize advertising.

Advertising, consent, and privacy options

Mood Blocks uses Google AdMob to show optional rewarded ads and occasional interstitial ads. Depending on your region, choices, device settings, and applicable law, Google may serve personalized ads, non-personalized ads, or ads with limited data processing. The Google UMP SDK requests and records advertising consent where required and determines whether a privacy-options form must be made available.

You can reopen the consent or privacy-options form from Market > Privacy Options (Gizlilik Seçenekleri) whenever Google indicates that the option is required. You can also reset or delete the Android advertising ID from your device's privacy settings. Advertising and consent requests are transmitted using TLS. Google and participating advertising technology providers may process the technical, interaction, diagnostic, and identifier data described above for advertising, analytics, fraud prevention, security, and regulatory compliance.

Local return reminders

If you grant Android's notification permission and enable reminders, Mood Blocks may schedule friendly reminders on your device after periods of inactivity. These notifications are created and scheduled locally by the app. Mood Blocks does not use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), does not generate or upload a push-notification token, and does not send notification scheduling data to a developer server. You can turn reminders off in the app or disable notifications in Android settings.

How information is used

  • To preserve game progress and preferences between sessions.
  • To operate the public high-score leaderboard.
  • To display and compare leaderboard rankings.
  • To serve and measure rewarded and interstitial advertising, manage consent, and prevent ad fraud.
  • To schedule optional return reminders locally on your device.
  • To load the Firebase libraries and fonts required by the current app interface.
  • To maintain service reliability, security, and abuse prevention through service providers.

Sharing and public display

We do not sell player information. Leaderboard information is shared with Google Firebase for hosting and database processing, and the chosen player name and score are displayed to other Mood Blocks players. Google receives technical request information when Firebase resources or Google Fonts are loaded. Advertising and related technical information is shared with Google AdMob and, where applicable, Google's advertising technology providers to provide and measure ads, manage consent, comply with legal requirements, maintain security, and prevent fraud.

Information may also be disclosed where required by law, to protect users or the service, or in connection with a business transfer, subject to applicable legal safeguards.

Third-party services

The source contains a legacy Dreamlo leaderboard integration, but its service keys are disabled in the packaged version reviewed for this policy. It is therefore not treated as an active data recipient.

Data security

Connections to Firebase, AdMob, UMP, and other Google services use HTTPS/TLS. Google states that Cloud Firestore data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Local game data is kept within the app's WebView storage and Android app sandbox; however, no storage or transmission method can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

Android backup is enabled for this app. Depending on your device, Android version, account, and backup settings, locally stored app data may be included in a system-managed backup.

Retention and deletion

Local game data remains on your device until it is overwritten, you clear Mood Blocks' app data in Android settings, or you uninstall the app. Restoring a device backup may restore some local data.

Firestore retains the leaderboard record associated with a player name and updates it when a higher score is submitted. No automatic deletion period was identified in the reviewed app. The app does not currently provide an in-app control for deleting a remote leaderboard entry.

To request access, correction, or deletion of a leaderboard record, contact the developer and provide the exact player name needed to identify the record. We may request reasonable information to prevent unauthorized deletion. Third-party providers may retain service and security data under their own terms.

Children's privacy

Mood Blocks is intended for players aged 13 and older. It does not ask for age, email address, phone number, or a real-world identity. The public leaderboard does accept a player-chosen name, so children should use a nickname that does not reveal their real name or other personal information. Where required by local law, children should use the app with permission and supervision from a parent or guardian.

A parent or guardian who believes that a child submitted personal information through a player name may contact the developer to request removal.

Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, restriction of, or objection to the processing of personal information. You may also have the right to complain to a local data-protection authority.

  • Clear local information through Android's app-storage settings or by uninstalling the app.
  • Use a non-identifying nickname for the public leaderboard.
  • Review advertising consent choices from Market > Privacy Options (Gizlilik Seçenekleri) when available.
  • Reset or delete the Android advertising ID in Android privacy settings.
  • Turn local reminders off in the app or disable notifications in Android settings.
  • Contact the developer about a leaderboard record or privacy request.

Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated when the app, its data practices, or legal requirements change. The updated policy will be posted with a revised effective date. Material changes may also be communicated through the app or its store listing where appropriate.
